How it Works

We keep pricing simple at $60/hr plus materials for virtually everything
The first half-hour of your first job is free
- If you have a really tiny job ("I need a hand moving this canoe"). Just give me a call/text. I'll come by after supper - no charge.
Non-profit organizations with flexible schedules can request to pay what they want (as low as $0/hr)
Quotes are free. Generally, we opt to estimate the number of hours and then charge the actual number of hours worked. If you prefer to know the cost in advance, we simply add 20% to the usual hours-estimate and charge that amount regardless of the actual number of hours worked.
We also charge a bit extra if the tools required for a job cannot fit on a bike (and are not provided by the client). This helps us stick to our mission of keeping small jobs small and simple jobs simple - we do not lease a large garage with unlimited tools of every size and shape. Don't worry, we will let you know if your job falls in this category before we get started.
Minimum charge for a new job is 1 hour. Minimum charge for a recurring job is 0.5 hours.
We charge GST.

If you are busy and cannot chat but want to get the ball rolling, include the following info:
- Quick 1-sentence description of what you need
- Your best guess on how long it will take
- Your preferred finish time/date
- Your no-later-than finish time/date
We will respond confirming whether we can take on your job based on the required schedule and existing skills

If you are not happy with the work we did for the cost we quoted, you can pay what you want (as low as $0). Surely that will make you happy!

We can work days or evenings
We try to have a lot of small jobs on the go, meaning we can often squeeze in another small job with little notice
